Take the Poligon Tool and draw an octagon. Right click to any place and insert 8 into Sides. You can create a chamomile using the Pucker & Bloat effect. Effect > Distort & Transform > Pucker & Bloat > 60%. Don't forget to go Object > Expand Appearance to turn this effect to simple vector shapes.

In today’s tutorial you will learn how to create a retro vinyl record with the help of the conical gradient. We will use the Apply gradient along stroke function for this. Then increase the stroke width of these circles as in the picture below. Select the inner circle. Move the Fill to the top position in the Fill panel.
